Turkey will be going to send more than 3,000 police forces to Qatar in order to help secure FIFA World Cup stadiums and hotels. According to the Turkish Interior Ministry, a security operation paid for by the competition hosts is under Turkish command.
According to the agreement signed between the two countries and published in Turkey’s official gazette, turkey will deploy 3,000 police forces and 100 special operations police along with 50 bomb specialists and 80 sniffer dogs and riot dogs to Qatar for FIFA World Cup 2022.
According to the Turkish government “During the tournament, Turkish police will only take orders from their Turkish superiors and officials who are serving temporarily in Qatar, The Qatari side will not be able to give direct orders to the Turkish police.”
“All expenses of the personnel deployed…will be covered by the state of Qatar.” Remember one thing the source did not specify who will cover the eight stadiums where matches are taking place and hotels where the 32 national soccer squads will stay because Qatar has also signed an agreement with Pakistan Government to provide security in FIFA World Cup 2022.
