Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon in an interview said that the PTI & Imran Khan spreading false & negative Propaganda through their social media over “misappropriating” relief goods for flood victims in Sindh. He also that the government takes “immediate action” against elements involved in the “Negative & false campaign”.

The minister’s statement came after pictures surfaced on social media, showing bags of flour donated by the United Kingdom (UK) being sold in Sindh.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Sunday said there was “no authenticity” to reports about flour bags received from the UK being sold. The authority said that Pakistan had not received any aid from the UK containing or consisting of flour bags.

According to Sindh Government, they are going to take Legal Action against the culprits involved in the false news spreading on social media.
