According to reports, the helicopter crashed in Harnai, last night, as a result, six army personnel including two pilots got martyred.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the helicopter was on its flying mission in Harnai, when it crashed. The martyred include two Army officers Major Muhammad Munib Afazl & Major Khurram Shahbaz along with 4 crew members Naik Jaleel, Sobedar, Abdul Wahid, Sepoy, Muhammad Imran, and Shoaib.

There is no official statement issued by the Pak Army Media Wing that will specify the cause of the crash but it was clear mention that the military helicopter was on a flying mission. Remember that, In August Pakistan Army aviation helicopter with important personalities including Commander 12 Corps Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali went missing in Balochistan’s Lasbela district, and later its wreckage was found after which DG ISPR confirms the news that Commander 12 Corps along with other senior Military officer’s embraced martyrdom.

According to the Military media wing ISPR, the helicopter was on the flood relief operation in Lesbela when it loses its contact with the ATC.
In a tweet, DG ISPR confirmed the news that Commander Quetta Lieutenant General Sarfraz Ali Director General of Pakistan Coast Guard Major General Amjad Hanif Sati along with 4 crew members on board the helicopter, all of them embraced martyrdom. He further said that a Board of Inquiry has been made that is working on it and trying to inquire about the main reason for the helicopter crash.
