Sindh Government issues new timings for Educational Institutions

Aimed Cold Weather, Sindh Government changed and issued new timings for educational institutions across the city due to Extremely cold weather.

According to a notification, the morning shift for all Primary, Middle, High, and Higher secondary schools will commence by 8:30 am.

According to the notification, rescheduled timings will remain in effect till 31 March 2023.

It is to be mentioned here Met Department Thursday said that, Cold wave is likely to continue across Sindh including Karachi till 29 January 2023 with night temperatures further falling by 2 to 6 degrees Celsius.

According to Chief Meteorologists, the lowest temperature in Karachi was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning. Earlier this month Karachi’s Temperature drops to 6°C recorded as the coldest morning of the Season.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) released a weather update claiming that Karachi recorded the coldest day of the season on Sunday as the temperature dropped to 6°C in the metropolis.

Remember here one thing Met department Predicted another cold wave is expected in the city in the first week of February.
