Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is reportedly considering Babar Azam to remain captain of the national team in only one format and to sack him as ODI and Test Captain.
Due to his recent underwhelming performance in the home series Tests against New Zealand, England, and Australia, the option to replace Babar Azam from Captaincy is being taken into consideration.
The Decisions regarding the captaincy and the tenure of the head coach and bowling coach are expected to be made at the end of the home season. According to credible sources PCB Chairman Najam Sethi designated Shan Masood as the vice-captain and the decision to lessen Babar Azam’s impact in all three forms.
Remember that Shan Masood is a strong contender to replace Babar Azam as the captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team in ODI and test cricket.
