Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz claimed that she is not interested in becoming the prime minister or the chief minister after the upcoming general elections in the country.
During an interaction with journalists PML-N, Chief Organiser said, “My focus is not on the slot of prime minister or chief minister.” The PML-N senior Vice-President also revealed that for now, Junaid her son had also no intention of joining politics. “Junaid has to take the responsibility for his home first,” she added.

Junaid Safdar son of Maryam Nawaz is a Cambridge graduate and has two Masters and two Bachelor’s degrees from UK universities.
Maryam said that the foundation, identity, and power of her party was “performance”. Responding to a question about people’s response, the PML-N leader said she was surprised to see the enthusiasm and numbers of the people who welcomed her upon her return to the Pakistan from Uk.
Capt Safdar Statement
The Statement of not becoming PM or CM from Maryam Nawaz comes after Capt Safadr her husband gave a statement about Maryam Nawaz. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Captain (retired) Safdar said he is not seeing Maryam Nawaz as prime minister in near future.
After this statement Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz stopped his husband Capt Retired Safdar Awan from delivering ‘policy statements’ after he criticized the party’s leadership.
The PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz took notice of Capt Retd Safdar Awan’s statements criticizing the party leadership. Credible sources inside PML-N said that Capt Safdar was stopped from giving ‘policy statements’
Sources also said that Maryam Nawaz ordered PML-N leaders to refrain from giving statements creating differences in the political party.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Captain (retired) Safdar said he is not seeing Maryam Nawaz as prime minister in near future.
“Not seeing Maryam Nawaz as PM in near future,” Captain (retired) Safdar Awan said in his exclusive interview with Private Media Channel.
The PML-N leader said the ‘vote ko izzat do‘ narrative of the party was buried on the day when PML-N decided to vote to give an extension to the former COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa.
He said Nawaz Sharif was the man who ‘challenged’ the status quo and later he was ‘deceived’ by some of the party leaders. He vowed to expose the team which ‘deceived’ the former prime minister.
In reply to a question, Maryam Nawaz’s husband said the parliamentarians should not change their loyalties. It is not right to win elections on PTI’s tickets and later change your loyalties for power, he maintained.
Capt Safdar Suggest that Punjab and KP should be delayed and went on to say to hold general elections in 2025 after the recovery of the economy.
