Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and his convoy meets a road accident on Mandera Chakwal Road while returning from Islamabad.
According to the details, the incident occurred when a group of cows unexpectedly appeared in front of the car, leading to a collision with other vehicles in the convoy.

Fortunately, Speaker Raja Pervaiz and his staff emerged unharmed from the accident.
In a surprising turn of events, an unfortunate accident took place as National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and his team were heading back to Islamabad after attending official engagements.
Earlier in month of May, Jamaat-i-Islami leader Sirajul Haq’s along with his convoy survives suicide attack in Balochistan’s Zhob.
The suicide attacker targeted the vehicle of Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq during a political event in Balochistan’s Zhob district. “The suicide attacker blew himself up near the vehicle of Sirajul Haq, but he remained unhurt in the attack.”
JI spokesperson Qaiser Sharif said a few vehicles had also been damaged in the attack.
He said that the party chief had reached Quetta to address a rally in Zhob, adding that a large number of people had gathered to welcome Haq as he entered Zhob.
“The suicide attacker was also part of the crowd,’ he added.
Upon getting information, a contingent of security forces also reached the incident spot to collect evidence.
Moreover, Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
