Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi officially ties the knot with Shahid Afridi’s Daughter in a Nikah ceremony.
Maulana Abdul Sattar performed the Nikah at the Zakaria Mosque, while the bride’s rukhsati will take place later.
Star cricketers Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan, as well as squash legend Jahangir Khan also attended the Nikkah Ceremony.
Asim Bajwa, the former director-general of the Inter-Services Public Relations, was also present at the occasion along with Wasim Khan, the General Manager of the International Cricket Council.
According to family sources, the couple’s mehndi function was held last night. Meanwhile, Shaheen’s family reached Karachi to participate in marriage events two days earlier.
Remember that The pair were engaged two years ago.
Earlier this month Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan announces his Nikah with the daughter of Pakistan National Cricket team coach Saqlain Mushtaq.
While taking to his social media account, the 24-year-old cricketer shared a tweet updating fans about the major development in his life accompanied by a note.
“Alhamdulilah, today was my Nikkah. It is a big day in my life and the start of a new chapter. Please respect my choices and those [of my] wife, and our families. Prayers and love for all,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Shadab Khan’s note read that he was becoming a part of his “mentor Saqi bhai’s family”. The allrounder shared about his choice to always keep his family life separate from work highlighting that his family also opted to stay out of public life.
