Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday inaugurated the K-3 power plant in Karachi that will generate 1,100-megawatt electricity.
The third unit of the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP) has been completed with Cooperation from China.

He mentioned that the electricity projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were greatly contributing to the country’s energy needs through the generation of thousands of megawatts.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Thar has been gifted with massive natural resources and that coal deposits will play a vital role in the prosperity of the region. After the Inauguration Ceremony Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif planted a tree.
