Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice president and chief organizer Maryam Nawaz on Monday takes jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan and said that the General Elections in the country will be held in October.

“Imran Khan’s plan to dissolve assemblies has failed and elections will be held in October,” said PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz while addressing a ceremony held in Lahore in connection with International labour day.

The PML-N leader lambasted the PTI leadership and said that the current situation lies not only with Imran Khan but with his entire team including senior party leaders, adding that ‘Imran Khan’s gang’ comprised of the most corrupt people.

She said Gen Faiz Hameed and Chief Justice Saqib Nisar are the individuals working for Imran Khan.

While talking about the recent ‘Audio leak’ of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar’s son, she said that the one who is responsible to disqualify PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, his son was caught taking a bribe of Rs 12 million for the party ticket.

“You demanded Rs12 million for the provision of an election ticket, how much you took for disqualifying Nawaz Sharif,” she asked.

She said that the minimum wage should be fixed at Rs 40,000, as Pakistan is progressing due to the hard work of laborers, adding that the party with such a strong labor wing cannot be defeated.

Maryam Nawaz Applaud the prime minister’s move to set the minimum wage, said that the PM has fixed the minimum wage at Rs 35,000 in these difficult economic conditions, but the minimum wage of labour should be fixed at Rs 40,000.

She said that Pakistani nationals are working diligently in foreign countries, but Pakistan has enough capability that the labour has no need to go abroad.
