Four policemen martyred and one terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire during an security operation in Balochistan’s Kachlak.
According to details, police conducted an security operation on the information of the presence of ‘terrorists’ in Kachlak, near Quetta. During the operation, the terrorists who were hiding in a house opens fire at the Police personnel.

In response Police and suspects exchange fire, in which four officers were martyred and one terrorist was killed meanwhile one was escaped.
Counter-terrorism department official Aitzaz Goraya said the militants were from Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, which is separate from Afghanistan’s Taliban but shares a similar ideology.
The bodies of the martyred policemen were shifted to the Lines area.
Earlier on Monday, Four people including two policemen were martyred while eight sustained injuries in a blast that took place near police van in the Quetta city’s Shahrah-e-Iqbal area.
According to police officials, the explosion occurred when the Police van of the Superintendent of Police (SP) investigation Saddar was passing by.
The officials confirmed that the SP investigation Saddar was not in his vehicle when the explosion took place. Several vehicles were also damaged as a result of the explosion.
Officials told that at least 15 people were also injured in the blast. Blast intensity was so high that was heard by far behind areas.
Civil Defence Director Rafu Mandokhail said that three to four kilos of explosives were used in the blast, while the explosive material was installed in a motorcycle.
Prime Minister Condolence
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the blast in Balochistan’s capital city with prayers for the martyrs and offered condolences to their families and also sought a report from the concerned officials regarding the terrorist attack.
PM Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolence to the families of the victims and prayed for the peace of departed souls and early recovery of the wounded persons. He vowed that the government will foil all nefarious plans of the terrorists.
Remember that from the Past few months Pakistan is facing the huge rise in the terror attacks with even the country’s bigger urban centers such as Karachi and Peshawar under the radar of militants targeting security forces with the aim to disturbed the peace.
NSC Meeting
In last week National Security meeting (NSC) was held under Primer Shehbaz Sharif that was attended by Forces Chiefs and different security officials.
In the meeting it was decided to kick start an operation against terrorists group to root out the menace of terrorism from the country.
The meeting was held in continuation with the NSC meeting after the Peshawar Police Lines Mosque terrorist attack that took place on 2nd January 2023, which claimed the lives of more than 80 people including security officials.
Meanwhile, security forces have been conducting operations against terrorists with the determination to eliminate terrorism from the country and resolve to strengthen the sacrifices of its soldiers.
