Shaheen is resting because he damaged his knee again in the same spot, Afridi stated. “Shaheen should relax for 2-3 months and be careful fielding.”

The old master blaster urged the young pacer not to land on his feet too hard, sending him back to rehab.

Shahid Afridi said, “He must play carefully now, and PCB must too.” Shahid Afridi stated Shaheen wouldn’t have bowled two overs in the final if he was unfit for the T20 World Cup.

Responding to speculations about Shaheen playing the T20 World Cup despite being unfit, former Captain Shahid said if Shaheen was unfit, he would not have been able to bowl even two overs in the final of the tournament.

Pakistan Cricket Board Medical Officer Dr. Naseebullah Soomro and Australian knee specialist Dr. Peter D’Alessandro have cleared Shaheen’s knee of any significant harm and the fast bowler was feeling better now.

Remember that Shaheen Shah Afridi got injured before the Asia Cup and now in T20 World Cup Final he also got injured while taking the catch.
