Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir on Saturday visited the Pak-Afghan border at Bajaur to Celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with troops in order to uplift their morale.
According to the Pak Armyās Media Wing, the COAS Asim Munir hailed the commitment and professionalism of the soldiers posted at the border. The Army chief also lauded the border security arrangements and operational preparedness.

On arrival of Gen Asim Munir, Peshawar Corps Commander received the Army Chief.
He expressed that the Pak Army is committed towards the defence of the frontiers and Pakistanās Armed forces are always ready to thwart any threat to ensure the territorial integrity of Pakistan.
āFor defenders of Pakistan, irrespective of the difficult terrain or weather and despite being away from the loved ones, duty takes precedence and nothing is more sacred than guarding the frontiers of our beloved country.ā
Earlier CJCSC and Services Chiefs wished a very happy Eid to Pakistanis. In a statement ISPR wrote āWe owe this festivity in a peaceful environment to all our Martyrs & Ghazis. Salute to them. May Allah continue His blessings upon Pakistan. Amenā.
Remember that Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with great religious zeal and fervor across the country today.
The day was marked with Eid prayer with sermons and large gatherings. The ulema and Molana in their sermons highlighted the significance and philosophy of Eid-ul-Fitr.
People dressed up in traditional dresses and offered Eid prayer in their nearby mosques. People embraced their families, relatives and neighbours and wished them a happy and prosperous Eid.
Special prayers were made for the prosperity and growth of the nation in mosques across the country.
In the Federal capital, the main Eid congregation was held at the Faisal Mosque where top government officials and envoys of Muslim countries offered Eid prayers.
