At least four people were killed while several are injured in a blast that took place inside the Rakhni market in Balochistan’s Barkhan.
Barkhan Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Najeeb Pandarani confirmed that four people had been killed as a result of a blast in Barkhan.

According to Balochistan Police, the explosive material was planted in a motorbike that blew up via a remote-controlled device.
The blast damaged several cars, motorcycles, and shops said the police. Soon after the blast security forces reached the incident area and took control of the area by carrying out an initial investigation.
Rescue workers reach the incident spot soon after the incident takes place and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. Some injured were also being shifted to Dera Ghazi Khan hospital said Rescue.
The police and law enforcement agencies are collecting the evidence from the incident spot.
Prime Minister Condemn the Attack
Premier Shehbaz Sharif condemn the blast attack and sought a report of the incident from Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and the inspector-general of police (IG).
The premier also directed to ensure the best medical facilities for those wounded in the blast.
“The terrorists will not be able to escape from the punishment,” stressed the PM.
Condemning the incident, the prime minister expressed grief over the loss of lives. “We will make an example out of those who spill innocent blood,” he added.
PM Shehbaz also prayed for those who lost their lives and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has also condemned the terrorist attack in the Barkhan market.
Bizenjo expressed sorrow over the causalities and sought a report on the blast from the provincial police chief. The chief minister prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
He also directed authorities concerned to tighten security in the province.
