Sindh’s Information Minister Sharjeel Inaam Memon undergo an angioplasty at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease (NICVD), Hyderabad as he suffered cardiac arrest.

According to sources, the hospital revealed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader was taken to National Institute Cardiovascular after he complained of chest pains.

After an immediate examination, the doctors said that the PPP leader suffered a cardiac arrest.

The doctors said that two of Inam Memon’s coronary arteries were blocked, however, angioplasty, followed by angiography, was performed on him to treat the medical condition. It should be noted that two cardiac stents have been placed in Minister’s Memon arteries to unblock them.

According to the hospital administration, Inam Memon’s condition is now stable and he will be discharged after 24 hours.
