Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will fly to Turkey on a two-day official visit on 24 November 2022.

The visit comes at a crucial time when the Shehbaz government was considering names for the appointment of the highest position in the Pakistan Army. As the Current Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa is all set to retire on 29 November 2022, the government is expected to finalize a name for the top post this week.
