Pakistan's Covid-19 Positivity Ratio raises upto 2Pc

Pakistan is witnessing a rise in covid-19 cases as 103 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the past 24 hours, while the Covid-19 positivity ratio continued to stay above two percent in Pakistan.

According to the stats, the new infections were detected after 4,685 coronavirus diagnostic tests were performed across the country, which placed Pakistan’s positivity ratio at 2.20%.

Moreover, at least 16 patients with the infectious disease have been shifted into the critical care unit during the last 24 hours while no deaths have been reported during the period.

Earlier this week on Thursday, National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) warned the authorities that the coronavirus could rise again in the country. During the meeting with the stakeholders, NCOC issued guidelines to avoid spreading the virus among citizens.

The NCOC announced to use of face masks mandatory in crowded areas, moreover, Medical centers, hospital staff and patients to follow the strict guidelines released by NCOC.
