Punjab Government School Education Department made an important announcement regarding the dress code during the winter season. Education Department instructed students that now they can wear any jacket, sweater, socks, shoes, caps, etc during January and February 2023.

Punjab Government said that Now No School can force students to wear only specific color sweaters, jackets, shoes, socks, and caps, etc. So all students of public and private schools are allowed to wear anything to keep save them from the cold.

Punjab Government Notification Regarding School Uniforms

In the official notification, Punjab Education Minister says that Consequent upon approval of the Competent Authority, all public and private schools in the province of Punjab are instructed to relax their uniform policy.

Students may be allowed to wear any sweater/blazer/coat/jacket/cap sock, shoes, etc. in the months of January and February 2023, to keep them warm and protect them from cold weather.

All public and private schools are directed to ensure compliance in letter and spirit.
