The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government banned the duties of teachers in elections and exams.
According to details, the KP education department has issued a notification regarding teachers busy with the census.

They directed the concerned departments to not include teachers in any training as a huge number of teachers are already busy with the census.
The letter further stated that appointments and postings of teachers are stopped till the completion of the census. Furthermore, the education department has sent letter to all the boards, directors and other concerned officials.
Earlier this month Chief Census Commissioner Dr. Naeem uz Zafar inaugurated Pakistan’s first-ever digital population and housing census.
The Council of Common Interest on 13th January 2022 ordered a digital census in the country.
Around 121,000 field enumerators have been deployed for the field operation of the census, which begins on Wednesday (today). “The process will be completed by 1st April 2023 and the data will be released by 30th April which will then be approved by the Council of Common Interests (CCI),” a spokesperson of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) earlier said.
A portal has already been launched by the bureau of statistics so that people can submit their data themselves and don’t need to give data to census teams visiting door-to-door.
All provinces have been taken on board over the census.
