The drug that is used the most is marijuana. Its use is more widespread among young people. Besides marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy are also gaining popularity among the youth of the upper class. Alcohol, heroin, crystal meth, sleeping pills, and cocaine are also consumed in large amounts. The aforementioned drugs are easily available.
One of the reasons for the increased availability of drugs, according to an anti-narcotics officer, is their low pricing.
According to experts, the causes for the proliferation of drugs include parents’ lack of attention, lack of interest in school, lack of jobs, and parents’ inability to warn their children about the hazards of drugs.
