Governor KPK Ghulam Ali on Friday signed a bill to raise the salaries and allowances of Ministers.
According to details, the Governor has signed the bill and the legislation bill is now part of the constitution.
It states that the official helicopter is now available for private booking on rent. After signing the new amendment all helicopter flights after November 2008 are legal now and no one can raise objections on this matter now.
The Ministers, Special assistants and Government officers can use the official KPK Government helicopter.
The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa previously sent the government legislation regarding the use of official helicopters for revision. Governor Haji Ghulam Ali encouraged the government to pass new legislation regarding the issue while speaking to the media.
The Governor stated that the official helicopter might be made available to ministers, advisors, and special aides for use. He said, “I’ve told them to check the charge for using the government helicopter.
He inquired, “What was the need for the new legislation on official helicopters?” He continued, “A copter has been out of service and another is being used by the chief minister.
“We are clearing the dirt of the past,” Haji Ghulam Ali said.
Barrister Saif’s statement has been at variance with the provincial government, Ghulam Ali said.
