Former Lahore CCPO Ghulam Mehmood Dogar refused to hand over case file to the joint investigation team (JIT) related to attack on PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
The PTI chief survived an assassination attempt on 3rd November 2022 last year in Wazirabad while suffering injuries to his leg.

The JIT sources claimed that Ghulam Mehmood Dogar was asked several times to hand over the file but he did not do so.
While serving as Lahore CCPO Dogar had faced allegations of being close to the PTI government.
The former CCPO maintained that PTI leader Yasmin Rashid had filed a writ in the court, adding that he would hand over the file when the high court announces its verdict.
The JIT sources said that investigation into the assassination attempt could not start as they had not received the file The current JIT comprises DIG Kamran Adil, Ehsanullah Chohan and SP Naseebullah.
Remember that Federal Govt retires the CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar retired on 23rd April.
