Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will represent Pakistan in the SCO session that is scheduled in India by next month.
During a weekly press briefing Spokesperson of Foreign Office said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead a delegation of Pakistani officials in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting in Goa in India on 4th to 5th May.

Pakistan’s foreign minister will also hold meetings on the sidelines of the SCO meeting during his visit of India.
Foreign Office said the Pakistan foreign minister would attend the meeting as External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had invited him to attend the SCO meet.
“Our participation in the meeting reflects Pakistan’s commitment to the SCO Charter and processes and the importance that Pakistan accords to the region in its foreign policy priorities,” Spokeswomen Mumtaz Zehra Baloch said.
The SCO is a regional political and security bloc whose members include Russia, China, India, and Pakistan
The SCO was founded at a summit in Shanghai in 2001 by the presidents of Russia, China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Over the years, it has emerged as one of the largest trans-regional international organisations.
India and Pakistan became permanent members of the Beijing-based SCO in 2017.
