The banned was imposed as an incident of misbehavior was reported to Parliamentarians by some unauthorized YouTubers/social media influencers at Gate No.1 of Parliament House on 23rd December 2022.

National Assembly Secretariat also decided that entry of only those reporters, journalists, and Media personnel would be allowed who are associated with Accredited and Reputable Media Organizations along with a Valid Registration card of a concerned Media organization and CNIC.

Social Media influencers including Vloggers and Youtubers who are interested in covering the proceedings of the House accredit themselves with PID and must have a valid session card for entry into the Parliament House.
