Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Mahmood Khan on Tuesday sent a summary for the dissolution of the provincial Assembly to Governor KPK Haji Ghulam Ali.
On which the Governor advised him not to dissolve Provincial Assembly.

In the Summary, it was mentioned by CM KPK.
“I, Mahmood Khan Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in pursuance of Article 112(1) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan do hereby forward my advice for dissolution of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on January 17, 2023,” read the summary.
KPK Government spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif confirmed the development by saying that the summary for the dissolution of the assembly has been forwarded to the Governor.
“Even if the governor does not approve the summary, the assembly will automatically stand dissolved after 48 hours,” he added.
Now Latest reports are that CM KPK Signed the summary for the dissolution of the Assembly and the Assembly will be dissolved after 48 hours even if the governor did not sign the summary.
Earlier today During the 86th meeting of the provincial cabinet, CM Mahmood said that he will send the summary for the dissolution of the assembly today. The development came a few days after Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi signed the summary for the dissolution of the Provincial Assembly.
He said that he will send a summary of the Dissolution of the provincial assembly to the KPK Governor today in the evening.
Mehmood Khan said it was the last cabinet meeting and he is grateful to all of the MPAs for their cooperation throughout the tenure and all the officers and ministers who played their role in the development of the province.
Mahmood said that his party will form the government by winning two-thirds of the majority in the General election.
