The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today in Peshawar for the sighting of the Ramadan Moon 1444 AH.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Moulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad will chair the meeting. The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet in the building of the Auqaf Department, Peshawar.

The meetings of zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will also be held at their respective offices present in different cities. The Zonal committee for Islamabad will meet in the building of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Earlier Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that there is a strong possibility of the sighting of Ramazan’s 1444 AH moon on 22 March this year. It said the new moon of Ramazan 1444 AH was expected to be born on the crossing conjunction point at 22-23 PST on March 21.
The update was shared by the meteorological department’s Climate Data Processing Centre. This means the first of Ramadan is likely to fall on Thursday, 23 March in Pakistan.
The Meteorological Department has said that according to climate records, the weather is expected to be fair or partly cloudy in most parts of the country on the evening of 22nd March 2023.
Remember here one thing, Ramadan Moon was not been sighted in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other gulf countries and the first Ramadan will begin on Thursday.
