In the scene, she had to take off one piece of clothing at a time. She said that she wanted to layer up. However, the filmmaker denied it and said, “No, I need to see her underwear. Otherwise, why is anybody coming to watch this movie?”
She went on to reveal that the director didn’t say it directly to her but to the stylist, who was also present for the shoot. Priyanka called that experience “dehumanising.”
Expressing how she felt, the actress stated that it “was a feeling of, I’m nothing else outside of how I can be used.” She felt that her art, or even what she contributes to film, wasn’t important at all. Two days after that incident, Priyanka walked out of the film.
Actress revealed that, on her father’s advice, she left the project after two days and paid back what the production house had spent on her. “I just couldn’t look at him every day,” she said about the director.
