The Popular communication app WhatsApp owned by Meta is down in several countries including Pakistan as many users were unable to send and receive messages.WhatsApp has suddenly stopped working in Pakistan as well as a few other countries around the globe.

Outage detection website DownDetector confirms that WhatsApp is not working for thousands of users in multiple countries. However, WABetaInfo has shared that WhatsApp is “experiencing an issue when connecting to the server”.

WhatsApp Statuses are partially working. You can still view status updates from your contacts, but you are unable to upload new ones at the moment. It does not even let you delete failed upload attempts for statuses. Calls are not working either, just like chat messages.
