UI-F chief and President PDM Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have to appoint the next Army chief on merit.
Talking to the media during a visit to Larkana flood-affected areas, Molana took a jibe at PTI Chairman Imran Khan, saying that the Prime minister’s decision was “of no concern” for the former prime minister.
He also said that Government should have to appoint the COAS according to Merit. He also said Government isn’t considering giving an extension to General Bajwa.
Remember that General Bajwa is going to retire from Pakistan Army Services on the 29th of November 2022.
