PM Shahbaz Sharif reached Uzbekistan to attend the SCO summit. At the airport, the prime minister was received by Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Minister for Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov, Governor Samarkand Erkinjon Turdimov, and Deputy Foreign Minister Gayrat Fozilov
Before Summit Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of State in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
North of the country’s Head has a great meeting where they have discussed all the issues that the region going to face. Both countries agreed in order to support each other.
During the meeting, President Putin stated that pipeline gas supplies to Pakistan are possible and that some of the necessary infrastructures are already in place.
Remember that before Shahbaz Government former Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Russia where he have a great meeting with Putin & also signed a large number of gas and petrol agreements.
