Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf claimed that Pakistan is the only country in the world where no one dies of hunger.
While Talking to the media, Speaker NA Raja Pervez Ashraf said that this year is the 50th anniversary of the Constitution of Pakistan, the Golden Jubilee of the 1973 Constitution is being celebrated in a grand manner, and the purpose of the celebrations is to make the young generation aware of the democratic and constitutional system of the country.
Dina Hai, Mera Ayin, Meri Azadi theme will be organized in every province oratory competition, restoration of 73 Constitution in its original form is our motto.
“Despite our challenges, we have been able to make significant progress in the fight against hunger,” said NA Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf. “No one in Pakistan dies of hunger, and this is something we should be proud of.”
The government has implemented a number of programs aimed at providing food assistance to those in need, including the Benazir Income Support Program and the Ehsaas program. These programs provide financial assistance to low-income families, as well as subsidized food and other basic necessities.
In addition to government programs, a number of charitable organizations in Pakistan are also working to address food insecurity. These organizations provide free meals to those in need, as well as food assistance and other forms of support.
Despite these efforts, however, Pakistan still faces significant challenges in the fight against hunger. According to the World Food Programme, more than 37 million people in Pakistan are food insecure, and malnutrition rates are among the highest in the world.
