Defence Minister Khawaja Asif wrote in his tweet that it means ‘attacking security forces is halal and PSL is haram’. No sanctity for the lives of our army and police?
Khawaja Asif sarcastically repeated the phrase of Najam Sethi’s tweet that “Satisfaction is that PSL is safe” and said that it is our elite who only care about their own interests. National security and precious lives are of no value, he added.
It should be noted that Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi tweeted that was later deleted and said that there is no threat to PSL from terrorism, and the event will go ahead. Super League Season 8 has no threat from terrorism. Najum Sethi said PSL has not received any threat from the banned outfits, so the event will continue as per schedule.
