Funeral prayers for the Senior journalist Arshad Sharif have been offered in Islamabad at the Shah Faisal Mosque. A large number of people belonging to various aspects of life attended his funeral prayers.
Strict security arrangements have been made in place around Shah Faisal Mosque to avoid any eventuality during the last rituals of the shaheed journalist.

At his family’s request, an eight-member of the medical board at the PIMS hospital carried out the post-mortem on his body.
Yesterday, Arshad Sharif’s mother urged everyone to visit her residence before going to the mosque for funeral prayers. She said that she wants to say goodbye to her son in a manner befitting of his sacrifice.
Remember that few days back Arshad Sharif was murdered by Keyna Police in mistaken identity.
