England Cricket Team has reportedly decided to hire a team chef for the upcoming test tour of Pakistan amid concerns over catering.
Team England has hired a personal chef for the Test tour of Pakistan after a debrief of the experiences of England’s white-ball team that toured Pakistan for a seven-matches T20I series ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

According to reports, several players and support staff had given the feedback that food was not up to the mark, particularly at match venues, during the seven-match limited-overs series and a few players had even suffered from upset stomachs during the tour.
According to the reports Cook Omar Meziane, who served in a similar capacity for the England men’s football team during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2020, will serve as the team chef for England.
This is the first time England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has hired a chef expressly for an overseas trip. The series will begin on 1st December 2022 in Rawalpindi. The next two Tests will be played in Multan and Karachi, respectively.
Talking about the result of the seven-match T20I series that was played in Lahore and Karachi, England National Cricket Team defeated Pakistan National Cricket Team in their own backyard by 4-3.
