Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa says he is retiring in five weeks and will not be seeking an extension.
According to the sources while talking to the media he said he is not seeking any further extension. He going to retire within 5 weeks.

He also said that Army has nothing to do with politics, and he also said that from now Army will not going to play its role in Politics.
Earlier, at a recent luncheon attended by the COAS at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington during his US trip, he had said the armed forces have distanced themselves from politics and want to stay out of it in the future as well
