Pakistan men’s cricket team’s middle-order came under fire after failing to perform in Asia Cup 2022 as well against England during the first T20.
National Cricket Team Chief Selector, Mohammad Wasim, is also dissatisfied with the batting unit and has indicated that changes can be made to the squad for the coming T20 World Cup in Australia.
Recently, the Chief Selector, while speaking to the media, said the Middle order batting unit is experiencing some challenges, which is why the committee will use different combinations in the ongoing series against England.
While answering a question regarding Fakhar Zaman’s inclusion in the squad, Wasim said that he will be fit ahead of the mega event, and if fitness issues persist, some names are under consideration.
