After the T20I Series series lost to Afghanistan under the captaincy of interim Captain Shadab Khan, Babar Azam will resume his charge as Captain of the national squad in the upcoming T20I and ODI series against New Zealand.
Regarding the series meeting the selection committee would be held next week to finalize the squad for both series against Black Caps.

It is expected that no major changes would be made in the team as management wants to provide another chance to the young players who are picked up from PSL.
A training camp would start at the National Cricket Academy on 7th April, while the players of both T20I and ODI squads will train together.
Earlier on Wednesday night in the last played match against Afghanistan, Shadab Khan led National Team to secure a 66-run win in the third T20I of the three-match series at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Remember here one thing in three matches played series Afghanistan clinched the trophy from Pakistan by winning the series by 2-1.
