Cricket legend Javed Miandad was shifted to a hospital in the metropolis of Karachi after his health deteriorated.

As news broke out of Miandad being admitted to a hospital, the former cricketer released a video message and told fans that his illness was “not serious”.
“I heard that people were worried about my health but I would like to clarify that I only came to the hospital for a checkup after a mild headache,” Miandad said.
The star cricketer was famous for his last-ball six against India in the final of the Austral-Asia Cup in 1986.

Javed Miandad is a former Pakistani cricketer and cricket coach. He was born on 12 June 1957, in Karachi, Pakistan.
Miandad made his debut for the Pakistan national cricket team in 1975 and went on to have a long and successful career as a batsman. He was known for his excellent technique and ability to score runs consistently. Miandad played in six Cricket World Cups for Pakistan and helped his team win the 1992 World Cup.
After retiring from playing cricket, Miandad became a cricket coach and administrator. He coached the Pakistan national team on three separate occasions and also served as the director-general of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Javed Miandad is considered one of the greatest cricketers in Pakistani history and is regarded as a national hero in his home country. He was awarded the Pride of Performance award by the government of Pakistan in 1982 and was inducted into the International Cricket Council’s Hall of Fame in 2009.
