Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant hospitalized after getting injured in a serious car accident near his hometown of Roorkee in Uttarakhand.
According to Indian Media reports Cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car collided with a divider on the road and caught fire. He suffered injuries to his head, back and leg. Director General of Uttarakhand Police said that “Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident at around 5:30 am”

Earlier BCCI President in a statement said that “Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back”
However, the X-rays showed no fractures and there aren’t any burn injuries despite his car catching fire.
The extent of Pant’s injuries will be determined after more scans including Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Further course of treatment will also be decided after the scans.
Remember that Rishabh Pant met with the accident near Mohammedpur Jat in the wee hours of Friday while driving to Roorkee in the Uttarakhand state of India. Indian Premier League’s franchise Delhi Capitals also shared the news of a car accident but did not give details on the 25-year-old’s injuries.
India’s National Cricket Academy chairman and Former Australian Cricketer Rickey Pointing expressed concern for Pant’s well-being.
Rishabh Pant is only 25 years old and is part of Delhi Capitals. He was dropped from the upcoming home T20I and ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting next week, due to being out of form
