The Pakistan Railways launched restoration work on the railway tracks and passenger trains that are Damaged by floods.

According to the reports team of engineers and technically skilled workers has started working on the section of the damaged track to remove the floodwater.

According to the sources Railway authorities have directed carriage department staff to complete technical work and to carry out fumigation in passenger coaches by 5 October.

Pakistan Railways General Manager Maintenance & Service Salman Sheikh said that railway staff was busy with the maintenance work of passenger bogies. Railway Chief Engineer Amir Nisar said railway staff was working day and night in different shifts to maintain railway infrastructure.

Remember that monsoon rains and devastating floods takes more than 1500 people’s life and also affected the Railways Infrastructure.
