Finance Minister, Miftah Ismail formally resigned from his post as a senior PML-N member after which Ishaq Dar again going to charge as the country’s finance minister.⁠

According to media reports, the development came in London on Sunday after an important PML-N meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and party president & former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

As per Media Reports Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Miftah, and Ishaq Dar attended the meeting where it was decided that Ishaq Dar will return back to the country and after court proceedings, he will take charge as new Finance Minister of Pakistan.

Remember that Ishaq Dar is a Pakistani accountant and Senator who served as the Finance Minister of Pakistan in the PML-N Government from 2013 to 2018. In 2018 he left for the United Kingdom due to medical reasons after which due to various corruption charges and court proceedings he decided to stay in London.
