Amid the Economical Crisis, Pakistan is unable to pay its embassy staff in foreign currency.
The shortage of foreign reserves created economical and financial problems for the country as well as for importers because their containers were stuck at the port.

Now due to the Dollar shortage in the country Government has decided to stop Payments to the Embassy staff of Pakistan until further orders
According to sources Pakistan has stopped payments to all its embassy staff in the world in foreign currency as the finance minister did not give approval due to a shortage of Dollars.
The shortage of Dollars also halted ‘important’ work at the Pakistani embassies in Pakistan. The payments to embassies have been stopped at the direction of the finance ministry.
It may be noted that the Pakistani rupee today was trading at Rs 268.30 against the Dollar in the interbank market.
The greenback gained Rs30.41 in the interbank market since Thursday after the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (Ecap) removed an unofficial cap on the exchange rate.
